Grant and Debra were married at Lievland Wine Estate in Stellenbosch on the 5th of December 2009. Debra chose to get ready at the venue which gave me a great opportunity to get some stunning “getting ready photo’s”. She was running a little late as all brides should, and kept Grant nervously waiting in his waistcoat and jacket in the 40 degree Stellenbosch heat.
Lievland Wine Estate provided loads of great photo opportunities. When I visited the venue a couple of days before the wedding I got really excited to see an old, rusty Bedford truck surrounded by long golden grass hidden at the back of the venue. This was a great spot to do the couple shoot. I wasn’t surprised when I got looks of confusion from the weddings guests as I lead the couple up the dusty road to where the truck was abandoned. On presenting the end product everyone could see what I had set out to achieve and loved the photos.
Grant and Debra were so comfortable together and I think that their love for each other really shows in the photo’s. Thank you for choosing me to capture your special day, enjoy the photo’s.

I really love the images and I see what you mean about the Bedford truck, well spotted. The lighting is really beautiful in all the shots, especially the one of the little boy sleeping.
