The day started at Oshun Spa and hair salon in Noordehoek, where Aisling and her bridesmaids were getting their hair and make up done (highly recommend the salon, they all left looking absolutely stunning) . The bridal party seemed really relaxed and everything was going just as planned, that was until the bridesmaids got dressed and the zip on Amy’s bridesmaid dress broke.  After trying everything to fix it including rubbing a lead pencil up and down the zip everyone agreed that Amy would have to be sewn into the dress.

Aisling and Mathew were married at the Springfield Catholic Church in Wynberg. The highlight of the ceremony, besides the part where the couple said “I do”, was Mathew’s song to Aisling. The super talented Mat performed a love song to an emotional Ais.

The ceremony was followed by photos in the Springfield Convent gardens after which everyone headed to Covelly Country Club for the reception. The newly weds opened the dance floor and guests needed very little prompting to join in, everyone seemed to really enjoy the evening.

The evening ended as the guests gathered outside the venue and lit sparklers for a festive send off. Ais and mat drove off in a car creatively decorated with shaving cream, lipstick and balloons.
