Tamlyn and Chad were married at Little Stream in Constantia on the 29th of May 2010.

It is brave to organise a garden wedding and reception at this time of year. The weather leading up to the wedding day was pretty miserable but Tamlyn’s prayers were answered when on their big day, the weather cleared and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. It was a perfect autumn day.

Little Stream is the most beautiful and tranquil Cape Town wedding venue, definitely a hidden gem. The reception was held under a pergola tent with a stunning garden view. A place where you would imagine that if you searched for long enough, you would definitely find fairies, although in my brief meanderings I only came upon two squirrels.

A big bonfire was lit at the entrance of the pergola, creating a special ambiance and helping keep all the guests warm well into the night. Like the surroundings, it was a truly magical day. I wish you all the happiness in your lives together.
