Carla and Shafiek were married earlier this year and they were excited to get a few more photo’s so we decided to do a trash the dress session. I met the couple at Little Stream in Constantia on a very cold winter afternoon. Carla got changed into her wedding dress at the venue and when I saw her in the dress I knew exactly why she wanted to wear it one more time, she looked absolutely stunning.

Carla and Shafiek were so great to photograph, really playful, fun and clearly very much in love.

We moved onto Muizenberg beach for some more pictures. The sun was starting to set and the stormy sky was just amazing, even though the temperature had dropped by a few degrees Carla braved the icy air so that I could take advantage of the great light and moody sky. I hope you agree that it was well worth it.
