I’ve photographed well over one hundred weddings but this one was by far the most special. The venue was perfect, the decor spectacular, but the main reason is that Aimée is my cousin.
Going back in time, we grew up spending most weekends either flying down her driveway in a go-cart, swimming or setting up a museum in a Wendy house, which I think also became a coffee shop at one stage. Having shared so much of our childhood together, it was extra special to see her as a beautiful woman, walking down the aisle to meet the man of her dreams.
Aimée and Gregg live in London and traveled to Cape Town to exchange vows at Babylonstoren, a quirky fruit and vegetable farm between Paarl and Franschoek. It was well worth the trip, this farm is amazing.
I met Gregg for the first time just a couple of days before the wedding and it is great to see how happy he makes Aimée.
Aimée and Gregg, I feel extremely honoured that you asked me to capture your big day and am really proud to have been a part of it. Enjoy the memories!
Linda

AMAaaaaaaaaazing!!! What an awesome wedding! Damn, I want to get married at Babylonstoren now. Well done Leanne, great pics! Particularly love the bridesmaids framed with doorway; the greenhouse with the ginormous vase and the tunnel – great architectural shot.

I remember when you were in matric Aimee, and to watch from a distance at how your life journey has progressed… Is awe inspiring…. to say the least. Your endless dedication, fantastic mind and talent have taken you to heights some only dream of. You looked like a Queen next to her King, in a far away Palace on your special day… More beautiful then ever… I wish you and Gregg everything of the best for the future, love and thoughts from East Africa.
