Over my career as a photographer, I have literally shot hundreds of wedding. All of them special in their own way, but being weddings, they tend to conform to what is expected of a big day. Then along comes one that turns convention on its head. Luc and Laurie’s wedding was one of those; a refreshingly original and fun wedding that dared to step outside of convention and it really worked. From the ceremony conducted by a friend, to a symbolic hair-band wedding ring, the wonderfully quirky attire and a first dance of poi all added to the originality.
