The Flour Pot is a stunning gift and cake shop that has recently opened in the Van Riebeeckhof Shopping Centre in Durbanville.  I absolutely love taking photos of food and pretty things so I was really excited that I was choosen to take some photos for The Flour Pot marketing campaign.

Feedem Pitseng Culinary Competition – Cape Town Food Photography

I love taking photos of food, especially when it is a work of art.

Feedem Pitseng hold an annual culinary competition where the staff compete in a cook off and are judged on hygiene during preparation as well as presentation and taste of the final product.  Each team had to prepare 8 different snack items with an Authentic theme.  Every year it gets more and more impressive and I am always amazed at the talent of the staff.

Congratulations to Carlien Brand and her team from Cape Town Medi-Clinic for winning the competition.

Silvermine Academy – Cape Town Matric Dance Photography

Once again I had the opportunity to photograph the Silvermine Academy matric dance.  I had so much fun last year and this time was no different.  The dance was held at The Range in Tokai which was beautifully decorated for the event.  The students arrived looking very elegant in luxury cars and designer outfits.

Bradley & Tracey – Cape Town Engagement Photos

Firstly, I must apologise for the delay on this post, I have been a little busy.  Bradley and Tracey are getting married in December this year and I have been given the privilege of capturing their big day.

I met the couple at Kirstenbosch for their engagement shoot, they both admitted to being a little nervous at first but it didn’t take long before they relaxed and we had loads of fun.

Thank you Bradley and Tracey, I’m really looking forward to taking your wedding photos. You must admit you guys really do look gorgeous together.

The Adamson Family – Cape Town Family Photos

I took Tyrone and Dorianne’s wedding photos about a year ago and I was so excited when Dorianne contacted me a couple of weeks ago to set up a family shoot.  I met up with Tyrone, Dorianne and gorgeous little Taleah at Tokai forest.

Dorianne was really organised and had packed lots of toys, plenty of clothes and a few props for the shoot.  In amongst all the toys and props were three oranges, I thought this was funny but soon realised why Tyrone had packed them. Tyrone started to juggles the oranges and Taleah found this to be the most hilarious thing ever, the best part was it never got old.  If we wanted Taleah to laugh we would just have to juggle the oranges and she would laugh even harder each time, it was just so cute.

Thank you Tyrone, Dorianne and Taleah, It was great to see you again and I really enjoyed our afternoon together. Thank you for choosing me for Taleah’s first photo shoot. Enjoy the preview.

Sudley & Judy – Cape Town Engagement Photos

Sudley and Judy are getting married in October and I am so excited to be part of their special day.  Not only are they one of the nicest couples but they have chosen one of my favourite venues and the best time of year for photos, this is going to be one awesome wedding.
